Hamburger Patties

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Prepare two large ceramic plates (best for being next to a hot grill) by placing a piece of plastic wrap over it large enough to cover the plate. Prepare another piece of plastic wrap large enough to cover the plate and save it off to the side.
  • In a large bowl, place ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix with hands until spices are incorporated throughout the beef.
  • Divide the beef into eight equal sized balls.
  • Place four balls in a 2x2 pattern on the plate. Cover with the saved piece of plastic wrap. Push the balls down into a patty shape through the plastic wrap. Remove the plastic wrap and cook the patties on a grill or in a pan on the stove.
